Welcome to the Oxford Geckos website. This is the culmination of an obsession that began in the 1990s, on acquiring my first Crested Geckos. These proved to be not only fascinating in appearance and habits, but also very accomodating in their dietary needs. Very little was known about Rhacodactylus at the time and both adults and young were offered a mix of fruit baby food and gutloaded insects.

After breeding Cresteds for a few years I became increasingly interested in the other Rhacodactylus species. Gargoyles, Chahoua and Leachianus were sourced and both the collection and the obsession grew. Information learned from many years of keeping these superb geckos can be found under the individual species. I hope you enjoy your visit.
